Message So I recently removed my plenum for an injector replacement. I noticed that I have some oil pooling at the back of the plenum on both banks. The TBs are dry, both intake and intercooler pipes from both turbos are dry so the only thing I suspect is my PCV system.

I have done the reroute by Woody in the AutoFAQ section running the PCV system from top of the valve covers. Also both PCV valves were replaced with new OEM valves.

What would cause oil to make its way to the plenum? The amount was roughly 1 teaspoon of oil in each bank.

I have nightmares about that happening...I'd be the poor bastard you'd hear about on the news that gets killed by a softball-size chunk while spreading out my body over the hood and screaming "Nooo!" (Having a conversation about hail damage) - BradZ (FL) on March 25, 2005 at 9:56 PM

Tell your friend that you could take a dump, light it on fire and that would be hotter shit than his car. Probes suck, that's just all there is to it. - 300ZXpert (someday) on April 04, 2005 at 11:35 PM
